Friday was my last day of work and that is a pretty amazing feeling. I don't think I left too much stuff undone and I don't have any idea if the job will be waiting for me upon my return, but that's at least a year away so I'll worry about that then. I've decided a couple of things about this trip and so that makes me feel pretty confident. Not having a destination was kinda freaking me out. I mean we had the first 3 stops laid out pretty well but after that it gets really hazy. Then it dawned on me that I have a month in San Francisco to start plotting a course, so that's one less worry for right now.
The next two weeks should be a whirlwind of activity as I try to figure out what to do with my space at home and making sure all of my friends are properly good-byed.
Right now, my plans are to write some every day and to practice my left handed writing as I plan to be ambihandrous when I return.
This is the first day of the rest of my life, thanks for being here with me.
