Standing here (well sitting actually) on the month and a half mark before we leave town and there is still so much to do. But setting up this blog is one of them so let's go.
In case you are new here, in the life of Gregory and Rebecca, Let me 'splain... No, there is too much. Let me sum up. Gregory and I met at a regional burn in October of last year (2008 for the people who can't subtract or the people who get here in 2010!) and what an introduction. It has been a roller coaster of fun from day one and it only gets wilder.
Back in April of 2009, Gregory returned from San Francisco and asked me if I would travel the world with him. As my plan had been to save for a house, I decided to put that on hold (and then change it completely but that was much later) and go with him. Originally we were scheduled to leave the first of November, but life has a way of interfering and the departure has been pushed back by one month. And now on the 14th of October, I have less than a month of work and something like 7 weeks before we leave. And I'm really starting to get excited.
The travel plan has morphed several times and to be quite frank, we still aren't completely sure where the wind will blow us. For the sake of discussion, let's say that we are going to Central and South America and wandering. Everything else stands in the TBD category.
This blog (as well as Gregory's flick'r and to a lesser extent my flick'r) will be a record of our trip, probably mostly from my eyes, but we may yet get Gregory writing. We hope you enjoy it, We sure plan to!
